Oh what a beautiful morning! Oh what a beautiful Day! - Here's a little jingle from Hugh Jackman's days on stage... you're welcome!
I kinda hope this song gets stuck in your head all day! Bwahaha! (There are worse things...)
My little tidbit of advice for all the Momma's (or Pappa's) out there who are home with their small kiddos...
Wake up! Get out of bed early! Carpe Diem!
I never understood, when I was younger, why my Mother would wake up at 5:30am to start her day. She didn't have to leave for work until 7:30am... so, in my eyes, I saw an extra hour and a half of pressing snooze and getting more sleep.
I get it now Momma.
Having three kiddos to take care of all day is an exhausting blessing... for sure. Willow wants to make Pancakes this morning... and last night's dishes are filling the counters! Maybe the dishes from a couple nights ago too... sue me? Long story short... I am up early!
I am drinking my coffee. As it was brewing I felt that we should appreciate the creator of coffee more. I think they deserve a holiday in their name! Agreed?
ETHIOPIA. The coffee plant, which was discovered in Ethiopia in the 11th Century, has a white blossom that smells like jasmine and a red, cherry-like fruit. Back then, the leaves of the so-called "magical fruit" were boiled in water and the resulting concoction was thought to have medicinal properties.
Coffee was finally brought to the New World by the British in the mid-17th century. Coffee houses were popular, but it wasn't until the Boston Party in 1773 that America's coffee culture was changed forever: the revolt against King George III generated a mass switch from tea to coffee amongst the colonists.
Or... maybe we can just celebrate coffee and how Nature brought it to us! THANK YOU!
I love you all. I hope that you have a beautiful morning and a beautiful day! I know that for me, when I wake up early and have time to myself before the kiddos wake, it's a beautiful thing.
